We have standard fees per unit based on the complexity of your formulas, FDA and State requirements. There are several levels of service based on the amount of participation from you. We take pride in being fully transparent when discussing financial terms.
After the test batch is produced a more accurate cost can be given. Various factors come into play for production. Preparation time can account for a considerable amount of production costs.
This will help you in determining a retail price for your product. Will it be competitively priced with similar items?
Something else to consider is how much of your initial product will be used for demonstrations and/or sampling.
WINK can guide you to growers for the fresh produce in your formula and distributors who carry your ingredients. Where possible we will work with you to order common ingredients with other customers to save money.
WINK has connections with label and bottle/jar companies and would be happy to refer you to them. We can also help you ensure that all the required information is on your label.
WINK Is a full-service co-packer. Once your packaging, labels and ingredients arrive we have the equipment to label your bottles and boxes, ﬁll and place tamper evident bands on the containers, apply a lot code and box them up for shipment or pick up.
Distribution is often the most difficult part of the mass production of a product. It can be a daunting task getting your product to the public.
You may need to prepare yourself for several on-site demonstrations/tasting of your product at local stores as well as to provide a way to get the product to those outlets. It may be that you will be able to access distributors through your customers.
